My favorite piece of technology 

Hi everyone, today I am going to talk about my favorite piece of technology, which is my cell phone. I chose it because it makes my life easier, and it helps me to communicate with my family. 

To be honest with you, I do not use my phone all day like most people my age, but I use it regularly because it makes my life easier. It helps me communicate with my family and friends who live far away, so we can keep in touch while I am here, and they are still in my hometown. Sometimes I use it to do my homework, not only with an internet connection which is useful so I can google anything that comes to mind, but I can also type ideas on my notes app more efficiently when I do not have access to a notepad. And lastly, I also use it to access all my social networks and various applications to distract my mind and have a good moment. 

Even though having a phone has a lot of benefits, it affects my life a lot, because I sadly depend on it. Most of my everyday tasks are related to my phone. From setting alarms to waking up and communicating with friends and family, to even googling restaurants and stores’ locations so I do not get lost when I go out, it seems like my phone can do it all. I do not like being so dependent on it. However, it still is the piece of technology that is the more important one that I own and the more versatile in its applications. 

In conclusion, -with all its pros and cons- I totally recommend it. I recommend you use it because it makes life easier -with just a simple click- and it helps us to be more connected, not only between peers but also the entire world. Furthermore, -and most importantly- it is always fun to use as a distraction with all the applications that exist today.
