My favorite actor

 Alfredo Castro 


Today I’m going to talk about Alfredo Castro, a person that I admire a lot. 




 I admire Alfredo Castro because he manages to play such complex characters but –somehow- he makes it seem so easy and natural. He is also an expert in acting technique, therefore, is a great professor of acting drama. 

 

Alfredo Castro is probably not only one of the best actors of Chile, but he also is the best director of theater, what makes him an integral artist. 




Well, Alfredo Castro was born in December 19th, 1955, in Santiago of Chile. He studied acting drama in University of Chile. After finishing his studies in Chile, he studied in one of the most prestigious art schools in London, to be a theater director. In the 90’s he started to work in television, where he achieved great success with his characters. In 2008, with his movie “Tony Manero”, Alfredo Castro became one of the most well-known actors in Latin America.

Why did I choose my major? Hi everyone, in this blog I'm going to talk about my major. Before I decided to study theater acting, I was studying architecture at University of Santiago. However, during my first year of architecture, I started to like the theater more and it felt like it stopped being a hobby.
