  Blog 5: Changes to my study program  I would like to start off by saying that I am just in my second year at University, so I haven’t had all the subjects yet. Therefore, I am just going to talk about the subject of the first years of theater.  In the first place, all the subjects are necessary for our professional education as actors, in my opinion. However, I think that there's some compulsory subjects of faculty of arts that are unnecessary, like the CFG (cursos de formación general) or CFBT (cursos de formación básica transversal), which commonly have the objective of making interdisciplinary connections with all the careers of the university. Somehow, the problem is not about the interdiscipline, but the way it is done and managed. The pandemic changed the way some courses are taught, and most CFG and CFBT are now imparted online. Blog Post 3: My Dream Job

 My Dream Job During my whole life I have taken interest in doing a lot of things and studying different careers. To start off, when I was a little child I wanted to be a doctor. Then, as I got older, my dream was to be an engineer or something close to a scientist.  If I’m being honest, I never thought I would be an actor or that I would be studying something remotely related to the arts field. However, I have always liked movies and the acting drama in general. Additionally, in the pandemic this hobby or hidden passion started to get bigger, and since that moment I absolutely love theater and acting drama.  In the theater world, the actors and actresses have a set of different skills for expressing emotions, to make the viewer excited and to perform in different areas. At this moment I'm a student, so I'm learning all these techniques. Someone once said Nothing is perfect . Sadly, the artistic world and especially the theater world are not valued in Chile. Blog post 2: The best concert ever

  The best concert ever  I have only been to a concert once in my whole life, but probably it's one of the best experiences that I ever had. I went to a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert at 2018’s Lollapalooza.  The Red Hot Chili Peppers is a funk and rock band from Los Angeles, California which was created in 1983. It is an iconic band and they have 7 Grammys and 2 American Music Awards. The concert was five years ago and I went with my father. I remember being so excited That year because they were coming to Chile after a very long time, so my dad gave me the ticket so that we could go together. To me it still is the best gift of my life. During the whole concert I was in shock: the band themselves, the energy, the songs and the performance were absolutely incredible. Also, all the people had a unique energy and it made the atmosphere of the concert one of a kind. Blog Post 1: A country I would like to visit

  A country I would like to visit Hi everyone. Today I'm going to talk about Italy, which is probably my favorite country in the world because of its history, its people and its architecture. Italy has a totally different culture than Chile has, especially in art. It is one of the countries in the European Union that consumes more theater and it is the country with the most heritage of humanity in the world.  I would like to visit different places, but if I had to choose one, the most probable one would be Rome, because of all the beautiful historical places, such as the "Fontana di Trevi", Vatican and Roman Coliseum. I want to visit all these places to know more about their history. My dream is to work in Italy making movies and theater, because I love Italian movies. My goal is to go there with my girlfriend when I finish my major .   This is all for today. See you soon.

My favorite food

 My favorite food It is so difficult to choose one single favorite food. First beacause I love the food and also because my family cooking is very delicious. Nowadays my favorite food is the "lasagna" my dad cooks. To me. it is the best lasagna in the entire world.  To be honest, I'm not sure abpout how to make it because my dad said that he's never going to share his secret recipe, but I know that the most important thing in the recipe is the dip and to take the time to make it. I like it so much because it reminds me of my childhood. Also, my dad made it for my birthday every year since I was a kid. It has always made me so incredibly happyy, still to this every day. Well, actually I don't eat lasagna very often, so it doesn't have a big impact in my health, but I know that it is not the healthiest since it has a lot of carbs on it, but despite all that I still love it.  And you, what is your favorite food ?

My favorite piece of technology

My favorite piece of technology   Hi everyone, today I am going to talk about my favorite piece of technology, which is my cell phone. I chose it because it makes my life easier, and it helps me to communicate with my family.  To be honest with you, I do not use my phone all day like most people my age, but I use it regularly because it makes my life easier. It helps me communicate with my family and friends who live far away, so we can keep in touch while I am here, and they are still in my hometown. Sometimes I use it to do my homework, not only with an internet connection which is useful so I can google anything that comes to mind, but I can also type ideas on my notes app more efficiently when I do not have access to a notepad. And lastly, I also use it to access all my social networks and various applications to distract my mind and have a good moment.  Even though having a phone has a lot of benefits, it affects my life a lot, because I sadly depend on it.
